The room had plenty of space and a huge bed, with some lovely extras: a robe, slippers, different tea bags and coffee pods, plus Borders biscuits. There’s a large car park and a fast EV charger around the side of the building. I had a really pleasant night at the Park Hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, recommending places to eat in town and booking me a taxi. I’d visit again.

The staff were lovely, and we enjoyed the restaurant, but we won’t be back. Sleep matters, and the bed was two beds pushed together with a cheap, thin mattress. We thought we were getting luxury, but it was barely basic. I’ve stayed in better Travelodges and couldn’t wait to leave.

The room was spacious, and dinner was really good. My gnocchi came nice and hot, and I really enjoyed the sundae too. I was there for one evening and didn’t have breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

The restaurant has lots of dining options, and don’t miss dessert with a cappuccino or latte. We stayed at the Park hotel in East Ayrshire, Kilmarnock from 25-28 August. It’s right beside the Kilmarnock Football stadium, and the staff were friendly and helpful. This is a wonderful hotel. Julie and Adam Peters, Oklahoma
