This was my second stay, and I’ll be back. There’s plenty of free parking out front, and the hosts give you a warm welcome. The rooms are lovely, comfortable, and have excellent facilities. Nothing seems too much trouble, and the gorgeous breakfast set me up nicely for the day. Well done to everyone.

We booked six of the seven rooms at Laburnam Cottage for a wedding last weekend, and the whole experience was superb from beginning to end. Karen and Carl were wonderful hosts, so hospitable and welcoming. Everything was spotless, and breakfast was awesome.

We always get a warm welcome, and the rooms are comfortable and well appointed. We slept really well, and breakfast was delicious. This guest house is a lovely final stop before flying home from vacation, about 20 minutes from Manchester Airport. There’s also an excellent authentic pub nearby, around a 20-minute walk. Don’t miss a stay at the Laburnum Cottage Guest house, it’s really lovely.

Carl went out of his way to help me through a difficult situation, and I really appreciated it. Both hosts were welcoming and helpful, and the accommodation was beautifully clean and well presented.

We’d happily stay again. Karen and Karl were friendly, helpful, and very accommodating when we asked to check in early. The six of us found the rooms clean, bright, and airy, with very comfortable beds. Breakfast had a good selection of cereal, juice, and pastries, and we all had the full English.
