The funeral tea was just right, and friends and family told me the food was outstanding. The setting and staff were lovely too, which meant a lot on one of the hardest days of my life. We chose the Inn at Lathones because it was near the crematorium where my dad's funeral was taking place. Coming from Devon, we booked three nights and arranged the wake there as well. From the start, everyone was helpful. I called ahead about food options, and the gentleman I spoke with patiently answered all my questions. Debbie welcomed us when we arrived and showed us to a beautiful, comfortable room with stunning views. We ate dinner there every night and had breakfast each morning. The food was always delicious, with superb flavours and nothing to complain about. Debbi and Marcin took such good care of us and made things a little easier while we were there. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you to everyone at the Inn at Lathones. What a wonderful team.

The breakfast had a great selection, and my Honey Ham Benedict was amazing. We stayed one night on an impromptu trip to St Andrew's, which is about a ten minute drive away and handy for exploring. Our room was very clean, with a large bathroom and comfortable beds, and it stayed toasty all night. The main drawback was that our room opened onto the main road, so the cars were quite loud in the morning. I'd definitely stay again.

We had dinner on our first night and it was excellent, and the breakfasts were just as good, with plenty of choice and good quality. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. We booked three nights and found the room clean, with good coffee and tea facilities. Would recommend.

The dining room food was plentiful and exceptional, and breakfast had an amazing choice and was great quality too. We spent two midweek nights here for an anniversary getaway, and it made a lovely base for exploring the beautiful area. The Inn was cosy and spotlessly clean, with friendly, helpful staff and service that was on point. A wee hidden gem and great value for money. We'll be back soon.

The busy road nearby was the main drawback for us. We couldn't really walk the dog close by, though beautiful Lower Largo, Elie and Crail are only a short drive away. The hotel itself was lovely, and so was the room. The bathroom could use a little updating, but that wouldn't put me off staying there.
