Breakfast was served hot in the morning and was very tasty. Ivy, the host, made sure I was comfortable. My room faced the front and had a double bed and a single, with plenty of space. It was clean, as were the toilet and shower. The mattress felt a little springy and could be better, but the room was comfortable overall. Strongly recommended.

Ivy was a friendly host and happy to offer advice if asked, and breakfast was excellent. The room was very clean and had all the amenities. When we arrived, the rules were explained clearly, and the booking had gone smoothly too. We’d stay here again and recommend it.

Ivy’s breakfast is so good. We sleep wonderfully here, and Ivy and Siebe feel like family now. Such a fabulous place.

Our hosts had asked ahead of time what we’d like for Sunday breakfast, then made us salmon in the morning. Our host was friendly and suggested places to eat, even offering to book us a table. That was especially kind on a Saturday night. We were touring Ireland and spent one night at Derrin Guest House in Larne. The room was fine for a night’s stay. I’d recommend this B&B if you’re visiting Gobbins, for example.

The guest house is handy for the town centre, and the ferry terminal is just a short drive away. We had lovely rooms and a great breakfast, and the place felt wonderfully friendly. I’ll definitely stay again if we’re catching a morning ferry.
