The Seven Stars

We were three for lunch on a busy Saturday at around 2pm, seated in the lovely rear dining area. The service was friendly and the atmosphere lovely. All three of us chose the Short Crust Pie - Steak n Ale, served with mash, root vegetables and a small gravy boat. We added a small portion of chips. The pie looked modest in size, but we all struggled to finish it. It was a proper pie, not just pastry over a dish. The cheesy chips people were eating in the front bar looked fantastic. We'd happily return and would recommend it to family and friends.

After miles of rain, we came in cold and soaked, and Seven Stars warmed us right up with a roaring fire. Chelsea and Lucas welcomed us so kindly despite our soggy clothes. Their Guinness was smooth and delicious, with a shamrock so perfect it deserved a kiss. The burger was brilliant, and the soup and sandwich combo was just right. We dried off by the fire and felt revived before heading back out into the wind and rain. If you're nearby, hungry, cold, or wet, Seven Stars is a cosy pub with tasty food. Five glorious stars from us, and cheers to the Guinness! 🍻

There were four of us for Sunday lunch, and we couldn't fault it. The welcome was lovely, the service was excellent, and nothing was too much trouble. The food came out hot and was very tasty. Lovely atmosphere, highly recommend.

We had a wonderful meal at the seven stars, and it was worth coming all the way from London. This was a spur-of-the-moment trip while visiting relatives nearby. The staff were attentive and polite. If I'm in the area again, this will be my first choice. I highly recommend a visit. Thanks, Steve.
