Boundary Hotel

For a cheap place near the university, it worked well for what I needed. The room was clean and as advertised, but it’s tiny, up steep stairs, and the bathroom is small and shared. There was a bit of a smell, maybe cigarettes, and the fixtures are old. The friendly staff and £7 Full English Breakfast were the best parts. Think bare-bones hostel, not luxury.

The room felt ancient, and the bathroom was in such poor shape that I’m not sure how they can still sell rooms here. Strange noises kept me awake all night. The whole place felt unhygienic and unsafe. A terrible stay, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

We had a lovely few days here. The place has an old-fashioned feel, which we liked, and we didn’t mind that it wasn’t modern. Parking was good and the staff were helpful. Thank you! 😀

The bed was comfortable, the clean linens were good quality, and there was tea and coffee in the room. Staff were pleasant, and I liked that you could get a light breakfast for a couple of quid. It’s very good value if you just need somewhere cheap to sleep, and I’d stay again for a gig nearby. The room itself was clean, but the place was shabby overall and the shared bathroom was pretty dirty. You get what you pay for. It’s not somewhere for a nice break, but it does the job.
