The reception area felt bare and too open, and could use some seating, warmer lighting, and flowers to make it more inviting. Still, from the moment we arrived, the welcome felt friendly and professional, and my daughter was comfortable straight away. We did hit a system problem during check-in, but it was sorted smoothly. Later, when we had trouble getting to our room by lift, staff dealt with that promptly too. Their handling of both issues was reassuring. We had a professional, pleasant stay and would consider coming back. The arrival area just needs a little more warmth. If you’d like this softened further, or adjusted to sound more luxury, casual, or formal feedback-style, I’m happy to refine it.

That bath was amazing, really deep and long. The rest of the stay had a few snags: I had to ask for towels, there were stains on the chairs and carpet, and the shower wasn’t great. I also woke at 7:30 on Saturday morning to workmen throwing tiles into a skip outside my window. Please add tissues and a mini fridge to the room.

We didn’t hear other guests making noise, which made for a quiet night, and the bed was gigantic and comfortable. The executive room was £100 and felt worth it. Breakfast was nice, with the usual full English choices, cereal, fruit, coffee, and more. It’s about a 15-minute walk into central Leeds, or a £5 taxi ride.

The price makes it hard to justify staying here again. The hotel feels old, with dated appliances and furnishings, even though the rooms look modern in the website pictures. Check-in and checkout are done by machine, so I’m not sure what reception is for. When I asked questions, staff didn’t seem keen to help or acted as if they didn’t understand.

For a midweek business trip, this was a comfortable and convenient place to stay. It’s around a 10-minute walk to the city centre, and the on-site parking is easy to get to. Staff were welcoming and professional, and quickly helped me print a few documents. The room was clean and had the essentials, including toiletries, tea and coffee, and an ironing board. The double bed wasn’t especially large, but I slept well. The gym has enough equipment for cardio or resistance training, as you’d expect at a city hotel. A reliable option for a short Leeds visit, with good service and an easy location.
