My seventh-floor room had good views over Leeds, including the stadium. It was warm, clean and comfortable, with a TV, kettle, hairdryer, towels, toiletries, wardrobe and hangers. There was parking, including disabled bays, and plenty of spaces when I visited. The car park is off the main road, up the slope on the right. The location is great for shops, cafés and pubs. Sabrina at check-in was warm, welcoming and so helpful, she ought to be a manager if she isn't already. The rest of the staff were great too. Recommended, and I'd stay again when visiting Headingley, Leeds.

My Premier Plus room smelled strongly of smoke, and after three weeks here for work I haven't had a decent meal. The fish and chips were soggy. I ordered nachos once and the sour cream was missing because they were out, but nobody told me. Two weeks later I tried the festive "pulled turkey" nachos, which turned out to be dry chopped turkey sprinkled over warmed nachos. I sent them back and they were served to me again. The melted brie burger was a big lump of brie on a flat processed patty, about as appetising as if I'd dropped it on the floor. I never saw a hairnet on any of the chefs. A lovely server said the chefs were new, though she also said they were cooking to Premier Inn's instructions. She comped me a coffee, but that didn't make up for the disappointing, awful food. I won't stay at this hotel again.

Just right for a short city visit. The hotel is in the middle of Headingley, and the rooftop car park gives easy access. Staff were friendly and helpful, and my room was clean, quiet and had a big bed. I didn't have breakfast, but it looked fine.
