The hotel felt welcoming and professional from arrival, with an organised check-in and a friendly atmosphere that helped my daughter feel at ease. There was a system issue during check-in, but it was sorted efficiently. Later we had trouble accessing the lift to our room, and staff resolved that promptly too. The reception area works, but feels open and bare. Comfortable seating, warmer lighting and tasteful flowers would make it more inviting. Overall, the hotel was reassuring and professional, and we’d consider coming back. With some thoughtful changes to reception, the arrival could feel even better.

The bath was amazing, deep and long. I’d have rated the stay higher, but workmen woke me at 7.30am on Saturday by throwing tiles into a skip outside my window. I had to ask for towels, there were stains on the chairs and carpet, and the shower wasn’t great. Please add tissues and a mini fridge to the room.

The executive room cost £100 and felt well worth it for a quiet night and a gigantic, comfortable bed. I’m usually bothered by noisy hotel guests, but didn’t notice any here, so the soundproofing must be good. Breakfast was nice, with the usual full English options, cereals, fruit and coffee. It’s about a £5 taxi ride or a 15-minute walk to Leeds centre.

The hotel looks modern in its website photos, but in person it’s really old, with ageing appliances and furnishings. Check-in and checkout are done by machine, which left me wondering why there’s a reception at all. When I asked questions, staff didn’t seem willing to help or acted dumb. I wouldn’t stay again, especially for the price.

The gym had enough equipment for cardio or resistance training, and my clean, comfortable room had the essentials: an ironing board, toiletries, and tea and coffee facilities. The double bed wasn’t especially large, but it was comfortable enough for a good night’s sleep. I was here midweek on business and had a pleasant stay. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the city centre, and the on-site parking is convenient and easy to access. Staff were welcoming, professional and helpful. They printed a few documents for me straight away, without any hassle. A reliable, well-managed choice for a short visit to Leeds, especially for business.
