Days Inn Wetherby

The bar area and staff were fantastic, and breakfast was hot, plentiful, and very tasty. Mohammed kept the breakfast area clean and well stocked, and was really helpful. Our room could do with a refresh, but it was warm, clean, and incredibly comfortable. We’ll definitely stay here again.

There’s plenty of casual seating in the lovely modern, glass-fronted foyer, so guests can sit and chat instead of being shut away in their rooms. The hotel doesn’t feel like the transit motels of the past at all. There’s ample parking, charging points for electric cars, and no road noise.

We ended up stranded in England after our car’s wheel cracked, so we booked a room for the night while we worked out what to do the next day. The staff were very kind and understanding. They even offered to help us sort out parking so we wouldn’t get a fine while dealing with the situation. It was an unexpected kindness, and we really appreciated it during a stressful time.

After a long drive, it was just what I needed: I could settle in and relax straight away. This was my third visit, and it was another good stay. The room was clean and tidy, everything worked, and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. I’d recommend the hotel and plan to use it again.
