I paid £75 for one night on a work trip, but the staff acted as if I should expect almost nothing because the room was supposedly £35 a night. The room didn't look like the website photos. There wasn't any water in the room or a water filter anywhere, and when I asked, they wanted £2 for a small bottle. When I protested, I was told to pay or go without. Please don't stay here. It might sound cheap and cheerful, but you'd be better off at Holiday Inn.

Sherrie and Lorraine at reception always give such a warm welcome, and they're professional and happy to help. I've stayed here several times. The hotel has recently had a much-needed spruce-up, with fresh paint and new carpets in the hallways. My room also had new carpets, curtains and paint. The triple-glazed windows are a real plus if you're a light sleeper.

I stayed midweek for three nights and paid less than £50 a night. For an economy motel at the Leicester Forest East M1 northbound service area, that's good value. The room was warm and a decent size, with a comfortable double bed, good bathroom, plenty of hot water, a TV and free WiFi at a decent speed. Reception is open 24 hours, and the staff were friendly. Traffic noise was the only real issue. The old-looking windows could use another layer of glazing, which might help. I'd stay again.

I gave this place a bad review by mistake because I'd mixed up the hotels. We stayed at days in on 20th feb for one night, and the hotel and staff were lovely. Our room was clean and comfortable. I've stayed twice now, give it 5 stars, and will definitely come again.
