Ramada Encore by Wyndham Leicester City Centre

The staff made me feel very welcome and looked after throughout my stay. Everyone I met was warm, friendly and ready to help, whether with a request, a local tip or just a smile. Suha deserves a special thank-you for being so kind and attentive. The Ramada Encore by Wyndham Leicester City Centre was clean and comfortable, and the location was ideal. I had a truly wonderful stay and left with a very positive impression. I’ll absolutely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Leicester.

After checking out, I realized I’d left an item in the room. Reception and housekeeping couldn’t find it at first, but they checked again and managed to locate it. They were really friendly and helpful, and Megha deserves a big thank you. The room was clean and comfortable, the location was good, there was no noise, and it was good value for money.

The man who checked us in was super helpful, but the woman who checked us out wasn’t as helpful. There was only one toilet roll, and because it was cheap it ran out quickly. I was unwell all night and struggled with not having enough. The bed felt like a small trampoline, probably fine for one person but not for two. There were holes in the curtains, a stained floor and silverfish running around the bathroom at night in room 312. Would I stay again? Probably not.

The room had several problems, including a wet room bathroom, a dreadful partition door connecting to the neighbours, and multiple hairs left by previous guests. The hairs made it clear the rooms weren’t being properly cleaned. I’d avoid this place. I booked through my company portal, where parking was stated, but there was no parking at all. If I’d known, I would have stayed elsewhere. My booking also clearly included breakfast and an evening meal allowance, but the staff couldn’t recognize this and rejected it despite the details being shown on the booking.
