The cooked breakfast was delicious. I can't put into words how tasty the bacon was, and they were lovely about swapping my fried eggs for scrambled. We had a great Sunday night stay at The Dukes. The rooms are small but have everything you need, including a jar of cookies, which was a lovely touch. I'll book again :)
The staff were awesome, kind and attentive. It's a lovely little row of rooms in what used to be stables, decorated just right to feel warm and cozy.
My room was comfortable and ready for me when I arrived, and all the staff were welcoming and helpful. I had a delicious beef brisket burger, and the breakfast included one of the best tasting black puddings I've had so far. I'd happily stay again.
I stayed overnight as a Brit Stops camper, and Sarah was really accommodating, keeping in touch about my late arrival. The pub is dog friendly, and The Dukes is in a picturesque spot that was really peaceful overnight. Breakfast was fantastic and set me up well for the day. I'll definitely come back next time I'm in the area. Thank you 😊
I've been here for 24 weeks and will be staying until early March. The rooms are snug, but just right for an overnight stay. Sarah is so lovely, the staff are brilliant and the food is lovely too. I'd recommend anyone in the area to stay here. I'll be back, Sarah.
