Fort Charlotte Guest House

From booking to checkout, staying at Fort Charlotte Guest House was fantastic. They sent a welcome pack via WhatsApp when I booked and were flexible about check-in. I had a beautiful King Suite, and was given a late checkout at no extra cost. Breakfast was delicious and the service lovely. I couldn't find a single negative thing to say. They'd thought of all the details: glass bottles of water and milk in the fridge, a great shower, smart TV, the comfiest bed and softest sheets. The windows were well sealed, including the sash window in the bathroom, which somehow held up against Storm Benjamin without making a racket. I highly recommend it, and hope to return before long. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We had a comfy, quiet room and somewhere to unwind after a long travel day. We found the guest house through a Google search and really liked its location for getting into town. Ryan and Anita were very helpful before our trip. We had a wonderful breakfast on our last morning, and tried several of the local restaurants they suggested. We would happily return after our two-night stay.

Ryan and Anita made us feel at home right away with their warm, welcoming hospitality. The room was very clean and comfortable, and we had a lovely two-night stay. We'll definitely come back next time we're in Lerwick.

Anita, Kelly and Ryan make this a wonderful base for a Shetland stay. It's just a minute from the centre, with a friendly welcome, great breakfasts and a comfortable room. I'd give it more than five stars if I could.
