The setting is lovely, just outside Lerwick, and the place was comfortable. The wood burner works really well in cold weather. The kitchen was well equipped overall, though the knives were blunt, which seems true of every cottage we’ve stayed in! There’s a very nice cafe called Fjara nearby.

The owners were friendly and happy to help, and the breakfast couldn’t fail to satisfy. Westhall B&B is a beautifully maintained, stunning building, with well proportioned rooms. It’s one of the most pleasant and relaxing guest houses I’ve ever stayed in, and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

The views are outstanding, the rooms are clean and luxurious, and the food is as good as any restaurant. Julie, the owner, was so helpful. Without question, this is the best guest house I’ve ever stayed in. Try here first!

The views from every window are stunning, and you can walk to the beach. It’s quiet but only minutes from the shops, with a huge, wonderfully fitted cooks kitchen and a super comfortable bed. This place is the BEST!!
