St Johns House Lichfield

Danielle was so helpful with my husband's allergies and adjusted his menu to suit him. We had an amazing Valentine's meal, with excellent food and service. Thank you so much.

We'd never played at St Johns House before, and the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. JAMES, the event manager, was a star, and Dan the owner was a delight to work with. Parking was great, even for our large van. It's a real gem right in the center of Lichfield, and would suit anyone looking for a small to medium venue for an event there.

The Garden Room in the Stables was lovely, with its own little patio and garden, plus a table and chairs for sitting out in the evening sun. It's a quiet spot despite being just a two minute walk from the town centre, and the staff were friendly and helpful. They first gave us the wrong weekend breakfast time, then fixed it by slipping a note under our door. Parking behind the hotel is handy, though the gate is a tight turn and moving around can be awkward when the car park is busy. One thing we noticed was how clearly we could hear the person above us, as the floorboards creaked with every step. Still, it's a great little place and I'd stay again.

The Cottage Room was immaculate, and both beds were so comfortable my grandson and I didn't want to get up. Breakfast was unbelievable, the chef's scrambled eggs were the best I've tasted. I sent a photo to my daughter and she thought they looked amazing. St John’s House is right in the middle of Lichfield and has its own parking round the back, which is a huge bonus. The staff were so friendly and the hotel standards were beyond belief. As someone who regularly comes to Lichfield to see family, I've never stayed in such a lovely hotel. We'll definitely be back.
