Court Residence

After a cold, long day working at Ineos FPS in Grangemouth, I appreciated the comfortable apartment, especially the good shower and pleasant bathroom. There was a small kitchenette too, and parking was easy to get to with a space available. Pubs, places to eat, takeaways, and cafes are all nearby. My front-facing apartment on the high street did get a little noisy on some evenings and weekends, though, since Linlithgow is a popular place to go out.

The owner was so genuine, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast basket had a great selection of continental things, and the courtyard should be lovely in summer. The apartment was brilliant, really clean and stocked with everything you need and more. The bed was comfortable. I would have preferred two pillows each, but that's just my own preference. The lighting was a nice touch too. Great spot right among the restaurants, bars, and everything else. I'd happily stay again and recommend it.

There were thoughtful extras waiting for us, including eggs and milk in the fridge, a fruit basket, and breakfast treats with coffee and snacks. The host was incredible and even showed us around the apartment personally. The place was spacious and beautifully kept, and I loved the deep bathtub for relaxing. One more living room chair and a ceiling fan to move the air around would have been nice, but those are small things. Everything is within walking distance. We loved staying at The Court Residence in Linlithgow and would come back in a heartbeat.

The split-level courtyard room was handy for my mother, who could step straight into the courtyard whenever she wanted a smoke. It was modern and had everything we needed. The town itself has plenty of history, so it's well worth visiting. Edinburgh and Glasgow are both a short train journey away, making this a perfect stay for a trip to Scotland.
