Sophia was especially helpful and made the visit even nicer. The staff were attentive throughout our early Valentine’s stay with my husband and daughter at Old Thorns Hotel Resort and Spa. We had a relaxing time by the well-kept pool. Our spa treatments left us short on time, so we missed the jacuzzi and steam room, though they looked fantastic. We’d love to try them next time, and would definitely return.

We took a nice walk to a local pub before driving through to the car park. It was our first visit, for my 24th Birthday, and everything was clean and tidy. Breakfast was lovely too. Couldn’t fault anything, and we’ll be back soon. Definitely recommend.

Mike and Stuart gave us a warm welcome and friendly service at breakfast, which was delicious. A wider choice would have made it even better, perhaps smoked salmon, different cheeses, and mixed meats like ham or salami. We also really appreciated the thoughtful special addition in our room, which made our recent stay at Old Thorns especially comfortable. We had a lovely time, highly recommend the hotel, and look forward to coming back soon.

The cream tea lunch was lovely, and we’ll be back soon. We had a wonderful anniversary spa visit. Sophie looked after us so well, and Lilly did my treatment. It was so relaxing that I fell asleep. Thank you all.

The rooms were nice and spacious, and the team were friendly. We enjoyed the spa facilities and had good service overall. The bar area was nice too, and breakfast was great. The changing area could use some solo cubicles instead of just a little curtain. I’d recommend this place for a spa day or break.
