The rooms are surprisingly spacious, and ours looked out over a lovely green area. Breakfast had plenty to choose from, and staff were around to help with extra requests. Everyone we met at reception was welcoming and helpful. It’s an older, charming building that’s been kept in very good shape. The hotel sits a little outside the centre, though there’s a bus stop just down the road. It can be busy, with parties and conferences in the halls downstairs. I enjoyed my stay, especially if you like old-fashioned hotels.

The food was fantastic, and the manager and whole team worked so hard to make sure we had everything we needed. Nothing seemed too much trouble for the lovely staff. We had a wonderful day and evening at my daughter and son-in-law’s wedding on 13th Sept. Such a fantastic venue, thank you for a great day.

Our wedding here in August 2021 was the best day ever. The team made everything run smoothly, and said we wouldn’t need to worry about a thing because they’d sort it all out. They really did, even adding extra chairs without any fuss. The facilities are great, and our room was clean and spacious. The staff were the most helpful I’ve ever come across. I’d go back in a heartbeat and hope we get invited to another wedding or function there. Thanks, everyone at @devonshire House Liverpool.

Nice little place to stay for a good price. The staff seemed friendly and helpful, though some parts of the hotel could use a bit of TLC. C-

The room was beautifully arranged for the wedding, and the location works well for people travelling in from outside the city. The bar staff were great, though I did see one staff member eating food from the guests’ buffet while collecting glasses. That didn’t seem appropriate or hygienic. The baby changing facilities were a long way from the function room, which wasn’t ideal. I’d still consider having a function here myself if the need came up.
