We found the Orrell Park Hotel really relaxing, with free parking on site and Orrell Park train station only a short walk away. It’s in a quiet residential area, but getting into the city centre was easy. Breakfast was a lovely cooked English breakfast with plenty to choose from, and it all came with a smile. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. The bed was great, and the bathroom shower was possibly one of the best I’ve had in a hotel. There were thoughtful extras like tea, coffee and biscuits, too. The staff were welcoming from the minute we arrived and went out of their way to help. It felt like a family-run place where guests really matter. We couldn’t have asked for more and would happily recommend it.

The restaurant was the highlight for me, the food was absolutely amazing. Staff were welcoming and glad to help, too. I had a great room at this small-scale hotel, and I’d strongly recommend it to anyone staying in Liverpool.

I booked this as a budget place to stay for a hospital appointment, and it was great value. The room was surprisingly quiet overnight, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The cooked breakfast was excellent.

Breakfast was amazing, and the staff were great. This family-run hotel was good value, with clean rooms and a lovely bar. I’d definitely stay again.

The bed was comfortable, but the sheets hadn’t been put on properly. We were told the room would be refreshed every day, but it was clear nobody came by. The shower pressure was so weak, and the bathroom smelled of sewage a couple of times. There was also a little mould around the window. I thought it was expensive for what we got. The manager was lovely, though he didn’t seem comfortable speaking to a woman and kept talking to my partner even though I was booking and paying. I can’t comment on breakfast, since the serving times didn’t work for us.
