Premier Inn Liverpool - West Derby

They found us a ground-floor room because my partner, Molly Readman, is disabled, and helped me with the new parking machine. My partner and I have stayed here several times, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for them. We’ll stay again, and thank you to the staff.

Steph sorted out a family room for us at the last minute. It was clean, warm and homely, and my children felt safe and said how nice it was. Kev and Steph were both so friendly and accommodating that they made the trip enjoyable after a stressful start. My wife even bought flowers and chocolates to thank them. They’re an asset to the team, and I hope management recognises their customer service and understanding. I live in Somerset and made the five-hour journey to Liverpool to see Anfield stadium on 24/01/2026. We’d booked elsewhere, but the accommodation kept changing, and the replacement smelled of cannabis, wasn’t child-friendly and was in a dodgy area. That’s why we went to Premier Inn (West Derby, Liverpool). I can’t thank the staff enough for saving our weekend. I’d definitely recommend this hotel.

Breakfast was average and a little too busy, but there was plenty and it was adequate for the price. A taxi from the town centre cost £17, so the location is okay. The reception staff went above and beyond for our group, making last-minute room changes to make things more comfortable for the two people sharing. The hotel was up to the usual Premier Inn standard.

The location is good, with a Beefeater next door, two supermarkets and a bus stop nearby. Staff were lovely and friendly, and check-in and checkout were quick and easy. The room was fine apart from lots of small mould spots and damp stains on the bathroom ceiling. It stank of bleach when we came in, so they obviously know about the problem and have tried to clean it.
