Trivelles Seaforth

For 37 pound in that area, I expected a dirty, cramped place without a private bathroom, so the first impression was a huge surprise. The guy who checked me in was so friendly and even offered me chocolates. My room was quite big, with a clean double bed, a microwave, and a mini fridge. The bathroom was cleaned pretty well, and there was soap and shower products. The decor's a bit dated, but at that price I can't complain. I'll be back.

We arrived early and were still given our rooms, with a warm, friendly welcome. For what we paid, two double rooms for two nights were good value. The rooms were basic, clean and comfortable, with tea and coffee facilities, a microwave and a mini fridge. There are stairs to the upper floors, so ask for or book a ground floor room if mobility is an issue. Handrails would help. The curtains need replacing. We had a comfortable two nights.

I arrived before check-in, but reception had already closed and nobody was there to let me in. No one answered the phone, so I had to book somewhere else. I booked two nights and they're now refusing to refund me. BEWARE!!! SCAM.

The area is quiet, with public transport nearby, and Trivelles Seaforth is conveniently placed for Liverpool. It's a budget option with basic rooms that cover the essentials, nothing fancy. Staff are polite, although service can be limited. Seems suitable for a night or two if you're after affordable accommodation.
