The Merrion Hotel

We paid extra for breakfast and really enjoyed it. There was a help-yourself spread of cereals, juice, toast, tea and coffee, alongside the traditional English cooked breakfast, with chefs there to help. It was generous and hard to fault. The hotel has a small amount of off-street parking for an extra charge, which we used and appreciated. Our front room looked out over the seafront and pier. It was functional, with a TV, tea-making facilities and an en-suite bath and toilet, but nothing fancy. It was very clean and well presented. The location is right on the seafront.

We booked dinner, bed and breakfast, and were delighted with the freshly cooked food and the great choice at both dinner and breakfast. Every member of staff was fantastic and made us feel very welcome. Our rooms, 202 and 203, were next to each other on the second floor, clean and comfortable, with wonderful sea views. My Sister, Mum, Dad and I stayed from 23/6/25 until 26/3/25. We'll definitely return next year. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The room was bright and cozy, and lovely and warm when we arrived in the evening. The place itself is in a really beautiful spot. Reception staff, breakfast waiters and chefs were all extremely friendly and helpful, and breakfast was delicious. I'm so thankful. I fell in love with this place and wish we could have stayed longer. I hope to come back.

We stay at different hotels in Llandudno for several nights each year, but always call at the Merrion in the morning to pick up a menu for dinner that night. There's a fabulous selection of meat, fish and more. You can choose a starter, main and dessert, or whatever suits you. The service is quick and the food is fantastic. I don't think you'll eat in a better place in Llandudno. Thanks for your good work, Jane & Brian.
