Days Inn Lockerbie Annandale Water

A handy place to stop while travelling, with shops and food options on site and free parking for hotel guests. The room felt a bit worn in places and could use an update. We had a few small issues: the toilet seat didn't fit properly, and the sink water wasn't great and didn't drain well. Still, the bed was clean and fresh, I slept well, and it was good value. I'd stay again.

We stayed Friday to Sunday for the Edinburgh motorbike show and had a lovely two days. The room was clean, with a soft bed and pillows, and the staff were friendly, polite and very helpful. The only drawbacks were doors banging until 11:35 on Friday night and a poor TV signal. I'd recommend it to anyone.

We picked this hotel for its position on the M74, which made a good break on our long drive from the West Midlands to the Scottish Motorcycle show. It's part of a Roadchef service station, with several food places on site. Our room looked out over the lake, which has a walking path around it. The furniture was good quality, the bed was comfortable, and the roomy sofa bed was a nice place to sit. The room was very clean, even the picture frames and other surfaces were dust-free. Friendly staff, good facilities and that view mean we'll definitely return.

We stopped here on our way north to the top of Scotland. The price was very low, and for a family of four it was hard to fault the value. The room was tidy and very clean, and we slept well in the comfortable beds. The woman at the desk was lovely, friendly and helpful. It's a pleasant location for a hotel at a services.
