We left London feeling stressed and misled, and the stay affected our holiday. We raised the problems right away and followed up, but neither the property nor Booking.com offered a room change, compensation, or a meaningful response. The shower was the biggest problem. The water pressure was so low that it was practically impossible to shower. When we told the owner on arrival, they said this was normal for the area and suggested running the water and trying again later. It made no difference. We asked to move rooms, but were told the property was fully booked and nothing could be promised, despite the room we had reserved and paid for. We had paid extra for a Double Studio advertised at about 14 m², with room to spread out, a dining table, and a proper layout. The room we got was much smaller and nothing like the listing or photos. The bed was pushed against the wall, there was nowhere suitable to open our suitcases, and there was no dining table or room mirror, just a small one in the bathroom. At €173 a night, it wasn't acceptable for comfort or even basic functionality. I would give this a 1 out of 5, or 0 if that were possible.

The area was very good, the price was good, and the bed itself was comfortable. Coffee and tea were included too. Still, I wouldn't book here again. There was mould in the bathroom and hair on our towels. The bed was extremely short, my girlfriend is 1.72cm and didn't fit. Water stopped working at random times in the morning. We weren't given hand towels, even after the cleaners came, and there wasn't a toilet brush.

The room was quiet on the night we stayed, and it was easy to adjust the temperature. I liked having the small kitchenette, and the shower was decent. The little toiletries came in handy too. It's a practical room, if a little stark. The underground station is only about four minutes away. I'd stay again if I was in the area.

We booked a double studio, but the room looked nothing like the pictures. It was tiny, worn, mouldy, uncomfortable, and not clean. The walls seemed paper thin, and the mattress was very thin and hard. Just shocking. I'm glad we only booked one night. Wouldn't stay again.

It's a fair price for what you get, and the rooms were clean, though ours had a bit of a damp smell. The beds have seen better days. The location is brilliant, with great transport links, and the staff were friendly. Check-in and check-out were easy. Fine for somewhere to sleep for one night, but I wouldn't choose it for a holiday.
