Rishabh, the concierge, was a big part of what made our stay memorable. He was always smiling, genuinely kind, and incredibly helpful. His professional, warm manner made us feel welcome right away, and he went above and beyond with everything we needed. We spent this past weekend at the Althoff St. James Hotel and had a wonderful experience. We’ll definitely return and highly recommend the hotel.

The staff were pleasant, and the coffee facilities and toiletries were nice. The rooms are large enough, and the price was decent for the location. I’d stay there again at that price. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable I’ve slept in. The shower is over the bath, which takes quite a lift to get in and out of. There was zero view, though that didn’t matter to me. Keep an eye on the “tip” on the hotel bill. I’d never seen that before, and had it removed.

Big thanks to Iveta from housekeeping for finding my purse in the safe. Anabela, the head of housekeeping, called me and placed it in the hotel safe. I really appreciate the help. This was our third stay here. It’s spotless, and the staff are tremendous too!

We got here around 10:30 after a really long overnight flight, and the staff were attentive and helpful about the early check-in. I’d paid for a 1pm check-in, and at 1 I got a call to say our room was ready. Before then we left our bags at the hotel, had a drink at the bar, and walked around the city. The room is lovely, and we enjoyed the bar for a well-crafted nightcap. The location is central and convenient, just a few minutes from Green Park Station. Having a wonderful experience so far!

I went to the restaurant with a Travelzoo voucher for the six-course tasting menu. We enjoyed the food, especially dessert, and our server Ismile was attentive and professional.
