We slept well in a clean, quiet room on the eighth floor, with a nice view. Assembly London is conveniently placed near buses and the Underground, and it’s an easy walk to the West End for a show or to Soho for food and drinks. We had coffee at the top of the hotel on our last day, so we’ll book breakfast next time. We’d happily come back.

The rooftop made the stay special. Breakfast and dinner up there were fantastic, with a cozy atmosphere that we really enjoyed. My only small complaint is that the rooms had no toilet brushes, and none were available when requested. Apart from that, everything was excellent. Highly recommend it.

I spent two memorable weeks at Assembly Leicester Square with a friend, then returned for another week with a different friend to go to a Coldplay concert. It’s one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. The location is hard to beat: Leicester Square station is a minute away, and there are hundreds of pubs and restaurants nearby, with everything London has to offer right around you. The room on the ninth floor had a stunning view of the London Eye and Big Ben. The hotel is modern, beautifully designed, very clean, and cozy, and waking up to that view each morning was a dream. The rooftop is gorgeous too, and the breakfast was among the best I’ve had, with a great atmosphere, view, and quality. Daily housekeeping was impeccable. Rochelle, Jess, Adam, and the whole team were kind, welcoming, and helpful. I used the hotel’s partner laundry service, which gives guests a discount, but had trouble placing an order in the app. Rochelle patiently walked me through it step by step until it was sorted, and her help made a real difference. I loved my time there and can honestly say I don’t plan to stay anywhere else in London. Thanks to everyone at Assembly for making it so special. As a Personal Travel Planner, this is the only hotel I’ll book for my clients travelling to London. I’m sending a client this month and will be back myself in two weeks. Looking forward to seeing you all again!

The rooms aren’t huge, but they do the job if you’re spending most of your time out exploring. I stayed for a week and everything worked; the rooms were clean and the staff friendly. The city centre is right outside, with pubs, theatres, museums, cinemas, and the subway about a three-minute walk away. Despite being so central, the rooms were well insulated from sound. The rooftop breakfast and cocktail bar are a real plus. I’d come back.

I’ve spent three nights here and enjoyed the stay. The rooms are fine for the price and location, especially compared with some much smaller places in central London. At Z hotel, for example, I felt boxed in, while here I could actually move around. It does the job, and I’d probably stay again. The rooftop bar on the tenth floor is a bit overpriced, though everything in central London seems to be.
