Astor Victoria Hostel - Adults Only

The beds were reasonably comfortable and I slept well. There seemed to be plenty of showers and toilets, and the kitchen was well stocked. Wi-Fi was poor in one half of the seating area, though. Check-in and check-out were both quick and easy. The staff were very welcoming and helpful when I arrived. I got lucky with a five-bed dorm that only had two of us in it, but it still felt quite hot because the heating was on and there was no visible control. Breakfast looked reasonable, though I didn't try it. I'd go again.

It was easy to meet other travelers thanks to the social atmosphere, and it stayed quiet enough for a good night's rest. The location was convenient for public transport and local spots. The rooms and shared areas were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the lockers had plenty of space. Staff were friendly and glad to help with directions or recommendations. Great value, and I'd stay here again.

I stayed two nights, and the location was perfect, close to Victoria's station, where you can easily arrive from the airport by train. For the price, the quality is well balanced. The rooms and bathrooms were okay and had what you might need, but this isn't a fancy place. I wouldn't pay extra for breakfast, since it wasn't much of a thing.

For a Zone 1 hostel, it's worth the price. The location in Westminster is good, near Pimlico station and a 20-minute walk from Big Ben and Buckingham Palace. The place is secure and the staff were really nice. There's a big kitchen with enough room to cook and store your things, plus a locker for luggage. My bed was a little small and thin, so I didn't sleep very well, though it was clean. The shower and bathroom were fine, with low water pressure, but that wasn't a big deal. I'd recommend it for a weekend.
