We were heading to Beaverbrook House afterward, and this stay for my wife's big birthday was wonderful from start to finish. She was welcomed with birthday wishes, and they upgraded us to a stunning suite with a welcome note and a complimentary minibar. The bar staff made us lovely, creative cocktails while we chatted, then we were unexpectedly moved to the Omakase bar, where a chef prepared an amazing Japanese meal for us. Even dessert had a birthday candle. While we waited for the car to Beaverbrook House, we sat outside with complimentary coffee. My wife felt truly special, and I couldn't have asked for more for her big day.

Fuji Grill was outstanding, and the restaurant had a lovely buzz despite the hotel's intimate feel. Our friends recommended this place, and we're so glad they did. We travel widely, and it's one of the best boutique hotels we've stayed in. The location was excellent, our room was gorgeous with a garden view, and housekeeping was right on point. The staff were fantastic. Honestly, I couldn't find a thing to fault. Highly recommended.

The room at Beaverbrook Town House was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. I especially liked the anteroom with its closet and minibar. I spent three nights there and had a great stay overall. Reception staff, especially Emily, were funny, friendly, and incredibly helpful. When I asked about blue cheese stuffed olives at the bar, they didn't have any, but they managed to get some. I also ate at Fuji Grill several times. The food was amazing, pumpkin wontons were a favorite, and Dan and the service team were top notch. Reservations was a very different experience. I replied to an email that offered help with a few questions and got no response. When I called the day before arrival, I couldn't reach the team and was told they'd call me back, but they never did. After I got to London, I went to the property in person with a reservation question and waited FOUR hours for a reply. It was vague, so I had to follow up for clarity. The reservations team's discourteous, unprofessional handling was a huge miss and let down the excellent on-site staff.

The Japanese grill was a great choice for dinner. We started with drinks in the cosy bar, a nice pause before the meal, and the tastefully decorated lobby and bar offered a welcome break from the constant traffic on Sloane street. The wagyu stood out most on the menu, and its price reflected that. Spinach salad and tempura prawns made a good starter pairing. A lovely evening overall.
