It’s a shame, because the location is handy for Marble Arch and some of London’s main sights and amenities. But the rooms are badly run down and urgently need renovation. Everything seemed old, broken, stained, or peeling. One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in.

The room was extremely dirty and poorly maintained, so it wasn’t worth the money at all. And if you booked a double bed, expect to get a single. A very disappointing stay, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

The only good thing was the location. At reception, the woman barely spoke English and asked us for so many documents. There was no reception and no WiFi. Worst of all, the rooms had no heat, so we were cold, smelled moldy, and had mold on the walls. The bathroom was filthy, especially the shower. It felt more like a place for a quick hookup than somewhere to stay. We left, and she didn’t seem sorry or even surprised by our feedback. If I could give less than one star, I would.

My partner and I left early because we didn’t feel safe or comfortable. When we checked in, it was obvious the first room hadn’t been cleaned: the bed was messy, the pillow had visible stains, and there were used condoms in the bin. We asked for another room, but that one was just as bad. The bathroom had no doorknob, there was no hot or even lukewarm water, the tap was broken so we couldn’t wash properly, and the curtains were filthy. The whole place felt unhygienic. I don’t usually write reviews, but feel I should warn people. The staff didn’t seem shocked or particularly apologetic, as if this wasn’t the first complaint. This place is a disgrace and shouldn’t be listed on Booking.com or any reputable platform. Spend a little more somewhere else and feel safe, clean, and respected as a guest. Avoid it.
