The hotel was quiet, and I couldn't hear people in the other rooms. It's only a short walk to the station, so getting the Tube into central London was easy. I stayed three nights for work, between the weekend and my Monday departure. Rahul at reception was especially helpful with directions and flexible about the arrangements, and always greeted me warmly. The room had a comfortable bed and a TV, and they can lend you an iron if you ask. It can get stuffy, so I'd open the window when possible.

The rate felt fair compared with the outrageous prices at other hotels near the US Embassy, and the service was the best I've had in years. Every staff member I met was kind, courteous, and ready to help. The room was spotless and cleaned thoroughly every day, and the care from the staff made us feel at home, almost as if we had the whole hotel to ourselves. We had a memorable stay and will definitely return. Best Western Plus Vauxhall Hotel is highly recommended.

The room was very small, and with only a wall space for hanging clothes and no wardrobe or drawers, a couple might want to book something bigger. We felt cramped. Still, it was modern, tidy, and clean, and the staff were lovely and accommodating. The cleaners refreshed the tea and coffee supplies, made the bed, and even folded our clothes and left them on the bed, which we hadn't expected since we didn't think they'd come in. I'd stay again.

I only found out at check-in that the hotel was being renovated, and the paint smell made the stay unpleasant. The rooms were okay, though rather small and a bit awkward to move around in. Breakfast was disappointing.
