Blakemore Hyde Park Hotel

My Junior Suite was a great place to switch between work and relaxing. It had plenty of space, a comfortable lounge area, a genuinely restful bedroom, a very comfortable bed, an immaculate bathroom, and a refined finish that wasn't overdone. The internet was outstanding, fast and stable enough for video calls and large file uploads without any problems, which made business travel less stressful. I've stayed at many London hotels as a regular business traveler, but Blakemore Hyde Park has become my go-to. It's convenient for Hyde Park and well connected to the rest of London, though the atmosphere and people are what set it apart. From arrival, the staff were warm and professional, making it feel like a home away from home. Christian, Danielle and Husain, apologies if I've misspelled their names, deserve special mention, as does the lovely breakfast team leader. They're professional but personable, nothing seems too much trouble, and they remembered me from a previous stay. Even a quick check-in after meetings or help with a request makes a difference when you travel often. Consistently excellent and welcoming.

We had a wonderful stay at Blakemore Hotel with our little daughter from December 31st to January 4th. The Christmas decorations were beautiful and gave the hotel a lovely atmosphere. Staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and professional, congratulations to the whole team. We enjoyed dinner at the hotel restaurant, and breakfast was very good. The breakfast room also has a pleasant morning atmosphere. A few things could make the stay even better: the room windows need better insulation because it wasn't warm enough inside, and the heating was hard to adjust. It'd also be handy to have bedside lights that can be switched separately from the main lights, and another outlet on the other side of the bed. Thanks, Blakemore Hotel, for a great stay!

Customer service really shows when something goes wrong. Our flights were cancelled because of the Iran conflict, so we had to book a different flight home a day earlier and asked to cancel the last night of our six-night stay. Arin in reservations said it wasn't possible, even though we asked two days before that night. She didn't try to help or check with management. That's very poor customer service. I won't come back, and I highly recommend staying away. Well done, Blakemore.

Biju Matthew, Nicoletta, and Huseyin were the reason I’d still recommend this hotel. They were warm, attentive, and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and breakfast was good too. My review went up through Booking.com before I could mention the staff. The Wi-Fi was extremely slow, which caused real problems because I need a reliable connection for work. Paddington Station was also farther away than I’d expected. Those issues made the stay feel closer to a 3-star experience for me, but the staff’s service made a huge difference.
