The location is good, but I wouldn't really recommend staying here. The rooms are extremely small, there's no lift, and the bathroom is tiny too. The reception has a very rude woman, as another commenter has mentioned. She mocked me to my face several times while I was trying my best to speak and understand English. Most guests are likely to be visitors who aren't fluent in English, so staff at a hotel in a tourist area should be aware of that. If they can't speak another language, the least they can do is treat guests respectfully. I work in tourism in my own country, and being kind and helpful, and trying to understand customers whether they're speaking their own language, English, or mine, is the bare minimum. Sadly, the staff here don't meet that standard. If someone doesn't like their job, they should change it.

Great spot, close to pubs and restaurants. The room was neat and simple, though very small. There's no air-conditioning, but they do have a fan 👌

I felt safe here as a woman traveling alone, and the neighbourhood seemed safe as well. The place was quiet, the staff were really nice, and breakfast was simple but perfectly fine. Paddington Station is about a five-minute walk away.

Sabrina at the front desk was so attentive and helpful. She looked after us and made sure we had what we needed, including getting us settled for breakfast. Thank you, Sabrina! The room was very small, and the bathroom was about the size of an airplane toilet, with a shower. There's no air-conditioning. It was cool enough outside to open the windows, but then bugs got in. The room smelled musty, and with no elevator, hauling luggage up to our third-floor room was difficult. I wouldn't recommend this for a family with kids.

The staff were really nice and the place was clean. I was there by myself for two nights, and it was mostly fine. I'd stay again, with a few things to keep in mind. Paddington is an easy walk from the hotel. The bathroom was extremely small, and because I'm very tall I had to duck to get under the shower water. Breakfast is low key, so I went to a nearby cafe both mornings. There isn't air-conditioning in the rooms. It didn't bother me during my stay, though I can see it being an issue for others in peak summer.
