Central Comfort Rooms

The team were easy to deal with and helped with everything I needed on my business trip. The rooms were clean and elegant, and the location made getting into central London easy. There were plenty of places to eat nearby, and the area was lively. Central comfort apartments suited me perfectly. I’ll definitely come back.

I left after one night, even though I’d booked two. The sanitary conditions bothered me so much that I went somewhere else for my second night in London. Never going back, and I wouldn’t recommend it. The room itself had bare wooden floors with screws sticking up that caught on my shoes, a rusty cabinet, tall cupboards propped on uneven boards, and a ceiling that needed work. The shared bathrooms clearly weren’t cleaned regularly. Around the property, there was litter and dirt, and it didn’t feel like a great part of town. It’s close to the tube, but I’d rather stay farther away and have a decent experience. The website photos looked passable, but they didn’t reflect what I found. It’s self-service, which might be all right if the price were cheap, but I paid what I’d expect to pay for a real hotel. I’ve had better service at proper hotels in several European places for less. This felt more like a cheap hostel at a regular hotel price. Horrible deal.

The radiator worked well, the TV was good, and the housekeeper was friendly and helped when we accidentally locked ourselves out. Finsbury park station is very close. Still, I didn’t think it was worth the money. The photos are misleading. Our room looked dodgy, the curtains didn’t block much, and the windows did nothing to keep noise out. Floors were falling apart, with corners sticking up and screws missing. The bathroom was shared by three rooms, not ensuite, and there were no toiletries or slippers.

Finsbury Park station is so close that getting into central London is easy, and there are loads of good restaurants nearby. The rooms are lovely, the location is perfect, and everyone was pleasant to deal with. I’d absolutely recommend it and book again.
