Comfotel GRN

The staff were attentive when they were around, but finding someone to talk to meant going through three other hotels on the street. The shower was cold, the toilet wouldn’t flush, and the beds were uncomfortable. We also left with some new friends: bedbugs. Everything about the hotel was terrible.

Parking takes some planning, but it’s doable. The room was clean, spacious, and just right for a comfortable night. Shepherd’s Bush Road is a great location, handy for Westfield and with a Sainsbury’s right across the street. Highly recommend!

Check-in was easy and straightforward when I stayed for an event at the O2 empire. The bathroom was clean and had a nice shower cubicle. They’d left a little welcome pack with shower gel, shampoo, a toothbrush, and clean towels on the bed. There are a few things they could improve, but it really wasn’t a bad experience overall, and I’d stay again.

The room itself was clean, but it was freezing because the heating didn’t work and neither of the two large windows would lock, so there was a strong draft. There’s no lift, which meant carrying everything up to the top floor with our one-year-old, and the receptionist wasn’t welcoming. We were also told parking was available when booking, but there was nowhere to park outside. When we called about the room, the receptionist said he’d come sort it out. Two hours later he still hadn’t appeared. We tried calling again and discovered he’d blocked my number, then he blocked my partner’s number too. I’m appalled, especially since they knew we had a baby with us. I won’t stay here again.
