We were very happy with our one-night stay. The room was neat and smelled fresh, and it’s about a six-minute walk from the station. There are lots of nice restaurants and kosher supermarkets nearby. For the price and service, I’d come back.

The beds were REALLY comfortable, and the hotel was very clean and smelled fresh. We were surprised by how nice it was, especially given the great location. A couple of things to know: breakfast has to be ordered when you book your room, otherwise there won’t be any waiting downstairs. Since this is a Jewish area, the hotel only provides vegetarian breakfasts. Also, food you bring back to eat in the dining area has to be kosher.

David at reception was fabulous, and the owners were so warm. After we checked out, they let me park my car outside the hotel. They didn’t have to do that, but their kindness meant a lot and has made me want to return soon. The rooms had everything our family needed. They were clean and got fresh bedding and towels each day. Thanks to Croft court for a lovely stay. We’ll be back.

Patrick at reception took time to tell me about the hotel and the surrounding area, and he was brilliant. My room was spotless and had what I needed on a very hot summer evening, including air conditioning, bedside power sockets, and a fridge. This independent hotel was £85 cheaper than a nearby Holiday Inn, so it was very good value. I’d recommend staying here.

For a solo business trip without much luggage, this can work: the rooms are tiny, but very clean and equipped for a comfortable rest after work. They’re cleaned and the bedding changed daily. Still, I paid much more than seemed reasonable for this kind of place, and the internet was so slow that online meetings and working from the room were nearly impossible. There was no breakfast during my stay, which was very inconvenient, and reception staff were mostly absent.
