The landlady made us feel welcome straight away, even though we were strangers with kids, and got our boys a stand for one of our phones. We spent a lovely couple of hours there on a Sunday afternoon, with plenty of locals and a really warm East End feel. I don't usually leave reviews, but this visit made me want to. Can't wait to come back and try some food next time. Thank you!

As soon as we got inside, the other owner started shouting that we had to buy drinks. We were at a pub, so of course we were going to. Before that, one owner was smoking outside and aggressively blocking the door. We squeezed past, thinking at first that he was a drunk customer. We left straight away, and they swore at us as we crossed the street to Wapping Tavern. Absolute clowns. They seem to be struggling to stay afloat and can't even organize a piss-up in a pub.

The service was a highlight, friendly and quick. Our group of four really enjoyed the meals, and there was a nice range of beers. Terrific pub.

We had no hot water at first, but the staff were helpful and got maintenance out quickly to fix it. The rooms are small but have what you need, including free drinks and snacks, and the pub has a cosy feel. We stayed two nights for a concert at the O2. It's right by a train station, so getting around the city was easy. A good quiet London stay without street or city noise. There's no breakfast, but we had amazing coffee at Cinnamon down the road. Would recommend.

I was only there for a party, so I can't comment on the rooms or service. The inn has a nice space with a dance floor and room for a DJ. There are lots of booth seats and stools around the bar. Toilets are available for customers, and you can park on nearby roads, though check the restrictions if you're staying out late.
