Europa House Hotel

I was on the fourth floor, where the narrow stairs to the top made it tiring to carry my luggage, and there’s no elevator. The bathroom was small but fine for a short visit. Still, for a solo trip of two or three nights, this was good value, with helpful reception staff and a room that was cleaned daily. The heating worked well, and I had no hygiene issues. Getting around was easy: Paddington Underground is about 150 metres away, and Paddington Train Station is a short walk too. Winter Wonderland was roughly a 20-minute walk. I had a pleasant three-night stay at Europa House Hotel.

The room was cosy, spotless, and really well kept, and the staff were always happy to help. Paddington Station is an easy walk away, and Heathrow is only about 30 minutes away, which made getting around very convenient. I enjoyed my stay and would gladly return.

The receptionist was really kind, and when we reported the shower, he offered to fix it straight away. It worked properly for a day, then the same problem came back. The water was scalding hot, and turning it to cold stopped the flow. There were five of us for three nights. The location was great, the beds were comfortable, and the tiny room was still okay overall. Towels were changed each day, but they weren't properly clean. The bathroom was microscopic, with a sink so small it was hard to wash your hands. I'd recommend it for a short stay.

A quiet spot with friendly staff and a perfect location for a solo traveller trying to save on a room. Paddington Underground and the Elizabeth Line are both less than a five-minute walk away, with the Elizabeth Line going to the airport.
