I picked this hotel for a show because it was only a seven-minute walk from the venue. The front desk was friendly, the rooms were very clean, and the central location made it easy to get around. Kennington station on the Northern Line is about a ten-minute walk away. The hotel sits in a quiet residential part of Southwark but is still close to all the action. A good choice for solo travellers watching their budget.

The Latino Bar downstairs played loud music all night, and the walls kept vibrating. Staff couldn't fix the noise. We were moved to another room, but we could still hear the music. I'd avoid it if you need a good night's sleep.

For what it costs in London, I thought it was great value. The room was basic, but the service and location were good, with plenty of shops nearby. It was quiet, and we felt safe.

It was a really uncomfortable stay, and I won't go back or recommend the place. There was no AC, and the room felt hot and stuffy; the fans didn't help. The fridge didn't work, and there wasn't even cold water unless you bought it at the front desk. There are better options around.

For London prices, this is acceptable, and the location is very good. You can reach the tourist spots on foot or take a bus if you don't want to walk. In summer, though, the room only has a fan and the ventilation is very poor. We could only open a window in the bathroom, and bugs could get in. I'd give cleanliness 7/10.
