We stayed for a few nights while waiting for our daughter to get the keys to her new flat. The place was quiet and clean, well equipped, and in a convenient location. I’ll definitely return next time I visit her.

The only drawbacks were that replies to messages were slow, it took a while to reach someone by phone when I wanted to store my luggage, and the room wasn’t cleaned daily. Still, the staff were friendly and helpful when I was able to speak with them. They let me leave my bags in the office so I could go out for a few hours. We had a balcony, which was brilliant in the warm weather, and our room at the back was peaceful all day. It was sparkling clean, had the amenities we needed, including a mini fridge and a large standing fan, and the lift made luggage easy to get upstairs. The hotel is right beside Finsbury Park underground and bus station, with routes all over London. We stayed for 2 nights, and I’d definitely recommend it for the access around London and the quality.

The only real snag was cooking, since just one pot worked with the induction hob, which made it hard to prepare several dishes at once. Otherwise the kitchen was well equipped, with a microwave, cutlery, kettle, fridge, pots and pans, liquid detergent, and dishwasher pods. We’ve stayed in both their double room for two and the larger room for four. They were clean, in excellent condition, well equipped, and had comfortable beds. Finsbury Park is very close, with restaurants, a pharmacy, bakery, cafes, and whatever else you might need. Check-in and checkout are self-service, which is handy and quick. We did panic when nobody answered our emails or messages about a late checkout, though we eventually reached staff and they sorted it out. They were friendly and helpful, but an earlier reply would have been appreciated. It’s a really good hotel and I highly recommend it. I’ll definitely book again.

I’m usually hard to impress, so I wouldn’t hand out five stars lightly. The apartment was pristine and clean, and the service was faultless. Bektas sorted out the problem with my Agoda reservation, took me in, and upgraded my room after Agoda had selected the wrong one. I’ve also booked through booking.com before.
