Hampton by Hilton London City

A handy tip: the hotel is near Aldgate metro station, on the Hammersmith & City underground line, about 20 minutes from St. Pancras. We stayed at the Hampton by Hilton on Osborn Street during our London holiday and really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was friendly from the moment we arrived, the decor was modern, and everything was clean. For London, the price for what you get was excellent. Our room was tidy, modern, and fully equipped, and breakfast was extensive and fresh. Staff were helpful and very service-minded, nothing felt like too much trouble. Thanks to Shannon, the evening shift manager, and the hardworking staff with their lovely smiles. We really appreciated your kindness.

Rahul from maintenance really made me feel looked after. When something in my room needed attention, he handled it promptly and professionally, staying calm and polite and checking carefully that it was fully fixed before he left. That turned a small inconvenience into a positive experience. Veneeth and John were kind and helpful too. I recently had a very pleasant stay at Hampton by Hilton London City. It’s a modern, clean hotel in a great location, and service like this shows they care about guests’ comfort. I’d happily return and recommend it to anyone visiting London.

I was here for two nights on a business trip, and the staff saved the day. They were helpful, smiling, and ready to accommodate requests and deal with any issues. The front office team and a waiter at breakfast especially made my day. Big congrats on the teamwork. The room and breakfast were essentially nice. It’s about a 15 minute walk to the financial district and Spitafield market. The area is eclectic, with lots of cosy, good multiethnic restaurants, and it’s convenient for the underground.

Ben was friendly and efficient while clearing tables, a real credit to Hilton. The rooms were quiet and comfortable, with great blackout blinds and everything we needed. The breakfast was the weak spot: much of the hot food and the coffee were lukewarm, and the ingredients weren't as good as I expected. The location is excellent, and the rooms are really well appointed.
