The breakfast was good, with the usual English and continental choices, and you can add it for £17. Costa Coffee is right on site, with a 15% discount for hotel guests. For dinner, I ate with colleagues at the restaurant and found it average. There are a few nearby places I’d probably suggest instead. The hotel is handy for Olympia. The room was a good size and had coffee-making facilities, though it’s starting to look a little dated.

Breakfast was a highlight, especially the friendly, welcoming staff. The hotel is also handy for bus routes and the Overground, and my room was clean and comfortable. I only missed having a USB-C charging option. One receptionist I spoke to on Saturday evening was a bit less warm than the rest of the team, maybe hospitality just isn’t her calling. Even so, it was a five-star stay for me and I’d definitely return.

There’s a bus stop right outside, which makes getting around easy. The nearest Underground station is about a 15-minute walk away. Breakfast was pretty good, with a decent range to choose from. The hotel is quite nice for a short stay. There are lots of rooms on each floor, so getting to yours might involve a bit of a walk.

Anna, the senior manager at reception, was incredible. She found us one of the last available rooms and even offered a free breakfast after our Airbnb had overbooked and refused to help. Her patience and kindness meant a lot while we were already having a frustrating time, and made a real difference even for one night in London. We hadn't planned to stay at the Hilton Olympia. We'd come to London on Valentine's Day for an event at the Natural History Museum and had booked an Airbnb around the corner. The room was lovely, and the whole hotel was very clean and tidy.
