The room was spotless and surprisingly quiet, even though its window faced Brick Lane. The bathroom, towels and shower were all great, and the free WiFi was very fast. I booked a larger room so I could work during the day, though there’s plenty of seating in the cafe and bar too. The rooms are ideal for an overnight stay. There’s free coffee in the morning and a happy hour deal of 2 drinks for £9 in the evening. The staff are awesome, and the location makes it easy to get around East London, with loads of food choices on Brick Lane, in Spitalfields and around Old St. I loved my overnight stay and will be back.

There are lots of restaurants nearby, and both stations are easy to reach: Aldgate East is a short walk away, while Liverpool Street is about 10 minutes away. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful every time we spoke with them. Rooms are on the small side, but practical and comfortable.

The bed was extremely comfortable, and I really enjoyed breakfast. The staff made us feel welcome throughout our fantastic three-night stay. I was very happy with the experience and will definitely stay here again on my next visit to London.

Spitalfields is right on the doorstep, with markets, restaurants and cafés nearby, so it’s a great base for exploring. Our room was very clean and pleasantly quiet, which made for a relaxing stay. For flights through London Stansted, the journey to Liverpool Street takes about 45 minutes, then it’s around a 15-minute walk to the hotel. I’d clearly recommend it for a relaxed stay in London.

We’d stay here again, even with the air flow concern. The aircon worked well but was very powerful, and I woke with a horrendous sore throat that developed into a form of flu. We assume it was the lack of fresh air from having no opening window, along with germs circulating through the aircon. The room was brilliant, clean and smart, with lots of clever storage. We could easily have stayed 3-4 nights without running out of space. The staff were AMAZING, accommodating and friendly from the moment we arrived. We were delighted to get a cooked breakfast for the same price as a continental one, and had it the next morning. We stayed one night while exploring Central London.
