Hyatt Regency London Albert Embankment

We had a great experience over the Christmas holidays. The staff were so friendly and treated us like family. Ramona, Jenny, Gabriel, and Shanti were outstanding, along with others whose names I can’t remember. Our room was spacious for a European hotel and had all the comforts of home, including a Toto washlet and an in-ceiling rain shower. Breakfast was included, and it really was a breakfast, with a huge selection of hot and cold foods. The location was excellent, close to the tube and British Rail lines at Vauxhall.

The location was good, and the staff and service were good too. They tried their best and did resolve the charge mix-ups, but those should never have happened in the first place and made us not want to stay there again. The hotel also isn’t built well, and sound carries easily, as if there’s no insulation.

The staff were very accommodating during a stay we thoroughly enjoyed. We’d accidentally booked a room with twin beds, but they put them together so well you’d never have known they’d been separate. I especially liked the shower and bathtub. The hotel provides everything you could think of. Thanks to Ashish, Labu, and Lume for going the extra mile for us.

Jay at reception deserves a special mention. He was so kind and patient while helping me make changes to my reservation, and I felt really well looked after. The room was clean and well kept, the service was great, and the hotel is an easy walk from Big Ben and the London Eye. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it.
