Hyde Park Radnor Hotel

I was here for a five-day work week in late January 2026 and had a really enjoyable stay. The rooms were spotlessly clean, breakfast was delicious, and service was consistently good. The central location also made getting around very easy, with transport close by. Margarita deserves a special mention: when I realized I'd left my computer adapter and cable at home, she went out of her way to find me a replacement at no extra cost. I'll definitely return and can recommend the place without reservation.

The staff stood out most to me. Everyone I came across, from reception to housekeeping and catering, was friendly, engaging, and seemed happy to be at work. The hotel was clean, the bed comfortable, and breakfast was nice. The location was decent too. One tip: the basement breakfast room gets really hot, so you won't need a jumper.

Breakfast was good, and a room for two under £100 near Paddington Station is good value. I took off a star because the heating was switched off overnight, and our basement room, b3, had a low underground rumble that continued until about 1am and started again around 6.30am. I'd stay again only if we could get an upper floor room. It would probably be warmer too, since the basement walls lose heat.

At £100 a night in central London, this was an absolute bargain. The staff were excellent, breakfast was included and self service, with bacon, beans, cereals, fruit, and oat milk. The WiFi was good enough to stream Netflix. It has a 24-hour desk, WiFi, and private bathroom, the features behind its four-star grading, though the place feels more like a very good two-star hotel. I'd use it again.
