Cosy London Apartment Near Baker Street

We only stayed one night because we arrived at midnight, were exhausted, and had no other option. The smell of something unpleasant being fried hit us as soon as we entered the building. We hoped the flat would be better, but the smell was worse inside, and even opening the windows didn't bring in fresh air. The place felt miserable and barely cleaned. There were stains on the couch and a hair on one of the towels. In the morning, we found a used condom on the balcony. The bathroom door wouldn't close, and because the bathroom corridor ran through the bedroom, smells came straight into the room. There were gaps around the flat's door frame too, so smells and other things could get through. It looked as if it hadn't been renovated in decades, maybe since Churchill's time. This was the worst experience ever. Don't get fooled, avoid this place by any chance.

We left after just one night, having checked in at midnight. They weren't cooperative and wouldn't refund us for the remaining stay. This was the worst place I've ever been. Disgusting. Don't book here.

The constant noise made the room hard to bear. You can hear cars outside as if they're running right by your pillow, and there's no soundproofing. The water heater sits next to the room and kicks in with a hellish racket whenever anyone uses water, even in the next room. There's no place to hang a shirt or jacket, and there isn't even soap for washing your hands, let alone for a shower. The TV won't work without Wi-Fi, and the Wi-Fi itself doesn't work on the first two floors. They tell you it must be your phone. The room door only locks from the outside, not from inside. A disgrace. Choose this place if you want to ruin your stay in London.

The kitchen floor was greasy and sticky, and the apartment was dirty and smelled awful. The windows barely help with the noise coming through. How could you find a worse place? Avoid this building.
