The service made the biggest difference. Staff were attentive and professional, and always welcoming and ready to help with a smile. Breakfast was another highlight, with a wide choice of quality food, all presented beautifully. The rooms were spacious and well cared for, with a premium feel. The views were stunning, especially in the evening, and really lifted the experience. A great pick for a special stay near the O2. Highly recommended and absolutely worth it.

We stayed one night on 12/31, our first night in London, and enjoyed both the InterContinental O2 London and the surrounding area. For a major holiday evening, the overall stay was solid, and the team provided thoughtful, professional service during a very busy night. The start was rocky. As an Ambassador member, I expected basic acknowledgment in the clearly marked Ambassador line. It was frustrating to see people join from the side and get served while a queue built up in that line. A dedicated line needs to be managed deliberately, especially on New Year’s Eve. Fortunately, the rest of the stay erased that frustration. We got an upgrade to a high floor, with a lovely view of the O2 Arena and the Thames. The room had some normal wear and tear, but was well maintained, comfortable, and fully functional. Dinner at the Brasserie was enjoyable. Another table treated the staff poorly, and I was impressed by how gracefully and professionally the team handled it. One manager stayed calm and confident, a great example of leadership under pressure.

The sky bar on the 18th floor had a superb late-night view, and breakfast was excellent. We stayed one night for a show at the O2 and the location right beside the arena was perfect. Our room was large and looked out over the Thames, and the polite, helpful staff gave excellent service. A wonderful stay, highly recommend 😉👍

The location and the views were lovely, and the housekeeper or room attendant who greeted us on the morning of Nov 30 on floor 14 was lovely too. But the stay didn't feel like the 5-star birthday weekend we'd hoped for. At breakfast and in the Skybar, the bill arrived before we'd finished ordering or eating, which made us feel rushed. The shower leaked badly enough that we used several towels to keep the floor from getting slippery. We also found the £52 per night parking charge surprising, as it seemed to apply regardless of how long the car was parked. We booked a spontaneous 3D2N stay at the InterContinental in London for my birthday. We were first told breakfast would cost £25 per person for the whole stay, then charged £80, which felt misleading and disappointing. After a small mishap with my dress, I couldn't find a garment or sewing kit, and there weren't even toothbrushes or toothpaste in the room, basics I'd expect at this level. It felt as if we mostly paid for the view and location. The hotel has potential, and I hope these details improve.
