I stayed two nights at the Kensington Gardens Hotel in January 2026 and had a very pleasant stay. The area is quiet and close to parks and public transport, which made the location excellent. The hotel was comfortable and well maintained, and the staff were kind and helpful. I'd happily stay again and recommend it.

We liked the spacious, clean room, and the location was very convenient for us. There was an issue with the room, but it was resolved fairly and kindly.

The room was very convenient and clean. The real downside was the beds: the mattresses were extremely firm and the pillows thin, so sleep was a struggle during our three-night stay. If location is what you need, it's worth it, but it may not suit you if you need a good rest.

Around hyde park from the other location, which made car parking decisions VERY INCONVENIENT. You can't even leave a google review for “Kensington House Hotel”. This was easily the most deceptive hotel booking I've experienced. BEWARE MARRIOT CUSTOMERS… They list this hotel as Kensington Garden Hotel, then book you at Kensington House Hotel. The bathrooms were gross, the rooms tiny with no circulation, and NOTHING like the online photos. I usually only leave 5 stars, but wish I'd known before getting into this. This is terrible on Marriott’s part. After a long drive, I showered on arrival and found no conditioner or body wash, only shampoo and two body lotions. There was no attention to detail. The way it was run felt like a hostel, and it shouldn't be a Marriott.

There are plenty of stores and restaurants nearby, and the tube is close. My single room was very small, and the walls are thin. It works for solo travelers who just need somewhere to sleep and shower. There aren't any elevators. That didn't bother me, but I was huffing a bit by the time I reached the top floor with all my things.
