I've found my go-to hotel in London. The shower is spacious, and although the rooms are a little small, that's what I expect in Europe after being used to huge American rooms. Service is nice, and breakfast is great when it's included: there's a good buffet and eggs made to order. We also got a free bottle of champagne with the Kimpton password!

We loved it so much on our second trip to London that we chose Kimpton Fitzroy London again, and it was absolutely the right call. The location feels nicely balanced, convenient and not too crowded, but not too quiet either. The stylish interiors, well-kept facilities, and room continue to impress us. The whole place feels special and immediately comfortable. It felt safe and genuinely enjoyable to stay here. We love this hotel and will choose it every time we're back in London.

I had birthday drinks at the Fitz bar. The staff were lovely, and the dim lighting gives it a cute, atmospheric feel that's great for a date. The house music didn't work for me, though. Something classier would have lifted the mood, since the music felt cold against the warm decor.
