The location doesn’t have much right nearby, but we got a great recommendation for an Italian place a short walk away. I’d stay again for the underground secure car park, excellent room, and amazing staff. Our room had a super-comfy bed, a double-head power shower, a fridge, and a nice big TV. The buffet breakfast costs extra, with all-you-can-eat full English, continental food, cereals, juice, tea, and coffee.
There were five rooms for our one-night stay for my grandson’s third birthday. My husband’s and my rooms only blew cold air from the heating. We got an electric oil heater, then eventually had to move rooms. Nicola arranged it all, thanks so much, ma’am. The rooms were spacious, the pool was really warm, and the sauna and steam room were on point. We didn’t try the gym, but it’s available. The restaurant staff were friendly and attentive, and breakfast had an excellent variety and was child-friendly. We all really enjoyed the stay and plan to come back soon.
I stay here for work and the staff are always lovely, respectful, and helpful. The hotel is immaculate, the rooms and amenities are great, and there’s plenty of room for seating and luggage. Breakfast is wonderful, with a huge range of cooked food, continental options, fruit, and more. It’s about 10 minutes from the underground station or 15-20 from Canary Wharf DLR.
The hotel feels clean and modern, and the staff are friendly, greeting you whenever they see you. It’s right next to Canary Wharf, and the rooms are a good size and good value for money for the area, especially compared with central London options. I’m not keen on the open bathroom design, but that’s just my preference. I had a good stay.
The room and hotel looked fresh, clean, and well kept, with modern boutique-style décor. The bed and pillows were comfortable and clean, the WiFi worked well, and there was good tea, coffee, and biscuits in the room. I also liked having lots of lighting options and a full-length mirror, though there wasn’t a light above or beside it. The windows wouldn’t open at all, so there was no way to get fresh air. I know it’s a high-rise, but I’ve stayed in others where you could open a window a little. A liquid hand wash would also be more hygienic and practical than a shared bar of soap. The fridge didn’t work and had a notice on it. We expected the Queen Guest Room to have a real queen-size bed, but it felt more like a small double. Reception never replied to our request in the Hilton Honors app to check in an hour early. We also picked a particular room number in the app for sentimental reasons, but got a different one at check-in because ours wasn’t ready. That made the room-selection feature feel pointless, since it didn’t seem guaranteed. We only learned after calling reception that the TVs weren’t smart TVs. The signal was glitchy, and there was no streaming or casting from our devices, or access to Netflix, YouTube, or Spotify. That made a big difference to our stay because we’d booked a getaway specifically to watch the Super Bowl together comfortably. It was really disappointing, since smart TVs are fairly standard now. The website should say this clearly. Mentioning HDTV without saying they aren’t smart felt misleading. The stay seemed pleasant at first, but the TV issue overshadowed it.
